are there compatitbility issues with latest update, 17.0.12? after updating XD, plugin install, state “not connected” and fails download.

I haven’t seen that error before. The download site might have been down. Can you restart XD and retry the update? Also try to uninstall and then reinstall the plugin from the plugin manager.
