You can use the hyperlink property to set the link to the image.
- Add a rectangle or text on the artboard
- Select it and then open the Element Options
- In the hyperlink field enter the URL to the image
- Export the artboard and view in a browser
When the user clicks on the rectangle or text the image will be loaded in the browser
